Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy backend applications using Python.
- Customize, configure, and maintain Odoo ERP modules to meet business requirements.
- Develop and support integrations between Odoo and third-party applications using APIs and web services.
- Maintain and enhance existing software systems and business applications.
- Collaborate with Business Analyst for software specifications and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases to support application performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications, integrations, and system configurations.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Ensure applications meet security, reliability, and performance standards.
- Support internal business applications and customer-facing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP development and customization.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL database design, development, and optimization.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications and business systems.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP implementation and support processes.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of application security best practices.
- Experience working with customer-facing applications and internal business systems.
