Backend Engineer

We are seeking a Backend Engineer with 5-6 years of hands-on and leadership

experience in Java and Node tech stack, who thrives in a fast-paced, product-focused

environment. In this role, you will architect, build, and optimize backend systems that

power scalable, high-performance applications. You will work closely with

cross-functional teams to design data-intensive services, improve system reliability,

and help shape our evolving engineering culture. If you enjoy solving complex backend

Job Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs, robust services and data intensive systems with high reliability and performance.
• Develop backend components using Java, Node.js, or Go, leveraging frameworks such as Express and Spring Boot.
• Work with distributed caching systems including Redis or Memcached for caching and ElasticSearch or Solr for search and indexing capabilities.
• Work with various databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB,
• DynamoDB, Cassandra, and Bigtable.
• Uphold best practices for clean, maintainable and scalable code.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Node.js, or Go, and hands-on experience with express and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of caching technologies such as Redis/Memcached.
• Hands-on expertise with ElasticSearch/Solr for search and indexing.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL,
• MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra and Bigtable.

• Familiarity with GCP, kubectl, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures.
