Job Description

The Full Stack Software Engineer plays a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance software solutions that power mission-critical business operations. Working alongside a collaborative team of experienced engineers, you will help deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable applications while influencing technical direction and engineering excellence. Your Daily Tasks

• Scope, architect, and independently deliver software features while collaborating with the engineering team to meet project timelines.
• Maintain high coding standards and contribute to a clean, scalable, and maintainable codebase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external advertising networks and third-party platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality across the team.
• Test, deploy, maintain, and support new products and software features throughout the development lifecycle.

The Qualifications We Seek

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time backend development experience, including object-oriented PHP and Laravel development, preferably in a high-growth startup.
• Expert-level proficiency in Laravel or Symfony, with a proven track record of building and deploying large-scale applications.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly MySQL.
• Proficiency in PHPUnit or Pest, with Test-Driven Development (TDD) as a core development practice.
• Experience developing well-documented APIs, third-party integrations, and SDKs using PHP best practices.
• Working knowledge of Docker for creating containerized development environments and supporting application deployments.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Intermediate proficiency in ReactJS.
• Expertise in Elasticsearch.
• Experience managing AWS infrastructure, including ECS, Fargate, Lambda, RDS, logging, and performance monitoring.
• Experience optimizing application performance.
• Proven success mentoring and developing software engineers.
