Software Engineer

This role owns the design, development, and testing of robust, high-performing software systems and applications, spanning both new product builds and enhancements to existing platforms.

Core Responsibilities

• Participate across the entire software development lifecycle, from planning through deployment
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code that adheres to team coding conventions
• Translate requirements into technical specs and assess what's realistically achievable
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate and ship components reliably
• Partner with customers on end-to-end testing and validation
• Diagnose and resolve issues in existing systems, including upgrades and debugging

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Solid backend development background in Java, with a track record of shipping production systems
• Hands-on AWS experience — Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, or comparable cloud services
• Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, etc)
• Familiarity with a major Java framework (Spring, Spring Boot, Quarkus, etc.)

Preferred

• Kubernetes experience building and orchestrating microservices
• Comfort working with Dockerized applications
• Additional language proficiency beyond Java (Python)
• Working knowledge of security, privacy, and performance best practices
