Product Engineer

Product Engineer | Python | €75k - €100k

We're looking for a Product Engineer who combines strong Python engineering skills with a product mindset. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and customers to build features that solve real-world problems and deliver measurable impact.

Location/Language:

• Applicants must be based in Germany or have the right to work in Germany.
• German language proficiency at B2 level or above (required).

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define, build, and iterate on new features.
• Turn customer feedback into practical technical solutions.
• Build APIs and backend services with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Help shape product direction by bringing technical insight into product decisions.
• Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and developer experience.

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience developing software with Python.
• Experience building production-grade web applications and APIs.
• Familiarity with modern frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Experience working with SQL databases and REST APIs.
• Understanding of software architecture, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• A product-first mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence and business impact.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
