As a Backend Engineer specializing in PHP, you will build and maintain high-performance web applications and APIs. You will play a vital role in modernizing legacy systems and implementing clean, scalable solutions that align with modern software engineering standards.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using PHP 7.4+/8+ and frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services.
• Lead refactoring efforts to improve codebase maintainability, performance, and security.
• Manage and optimize database schemas and queries using MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient technical implementations.
• Ensure high code quality through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Backend Engineering, focusing on PHP development.
• Proven expertise with PHP 7.4+/8+ and MVC frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong hands-on experience in designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Solid proficiency in SQL databases, specifically MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in modernizing and refactoring legacy codebases for improved performance.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
