Senior Backend Engineer (Golang)

We're looking for an exceptional engineer who brings strong backend experience and real infrastructure skills, and who understands that in a regulated financial platform, correctness and reliability are the foundation. You'll help build the core of RIAD Finance from the ground up, own how the backend is architected, and help shape the engineering culture of a company from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and build the core backend services that power RIAD's financial products
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable Go services, architecting across monolith and microservices and choosing the right approach for each problem
• Build integrations behind clean interfaces using REST APIs and webhooks, designed to stay correct even under failure
• Deploy and run the platform on a cloud provider (GCP preferred, AWS welcome), with a managed relational database (Postgres or similar) and non-relational stores where they fit
• Own CI/CD, migrations, monitoring, and secrets
• Support the platform end to end through bug fixes, documentation, and feature improvements
• Ship better and faster with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Antigravity)

What We Need To See

• Strong Go engineer who has built and shipped real backend systems, with solid command of concurrency, data integrity, and clean architecture
• Real infrastructure skill: genuine hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (GCP or AWS), CI/CD, databases, and deployment. You can build the backend and run it
• You care about correctness, and you understand why a financial system demands stricter discipline than a typical app
