Senior Backend Engineer (Go)

About the Role
Hybrid in Casablanca / Palma de Mallorca, or remote in Europe.
This is a senior backend software engineer role working on complex integrations that are crucial to our product: the systems that connect hotels to Nuitée's supply chain.
Nuitée's Connectivity team runs at real scale: 600 million requests a day flow through the integrations this team builds and maintains.
Connectivity isn't a side function Nuitee, it's the engine behind our core product. Every integration you ship plugs directly into how the company runs.
Every channel manager and PMS we connect to works differently, so each integration is its own puzzle, and solving it quickly, and to a high standard, matters. As Nuitée grows, so does the number of these integrations. You'll join a team of 3 backend engineers already in motion, as one of 2 new hires helping them keep pace.
What makes it interesting for you
- Real scale: 600M requests a day run through what you build
- Every integration is different, so there's real room for creativity in how you approach and solve each one
- The product keeps evolving: optimization, scale, traffic, and cost are ongoing, live focus areas, never a fixed checklist
- Genuine freedom in how you work. Your own approach and suggestions shape how things get done, not a static set of guidelines
- Your work sits between the provider's API and Nuitée's supply chain, translating one into the other so hotels can go live
Nuitée was already profitable before raising a $48M Series A led by Accel, and has grown 10x since 2022.
The kind of problems you'll work on
- How do you adapt a channel manager's API into ours, cleanly, without breaking what's already live?
- Where is this integration going to break at scale, and how do you build for that upfront?
- What's slowing down request handling, and where is cost creeping in?
- How do you clear the backlog of open tickets while still shipping new integrations?
This role fits if you
- have strong, hands-on Golang experience
- are comfortable owning an integration alone, from first line of code to production
- have integrated third-party APIs before (channel managers, PMS, or something comparable)
- are comfortable with ambiguity and low process, and can jump in when something urgent breaks
Nuitée is fast-moving, low on process, and high on ownership. If you like solving genuinely hard integration problems and want to be trusted to figure it out yourself, this is the role.
If that resonates, we'd love to hear from you. You can apply with your LinkedIn profile or CV. The process is straightforward and typically takes 2 to 3 weeks.
