Java Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Microservices architecture, and the Spring Framework. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems that support business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Develop and deploy Microservices-based applications following industry best practices.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluency in French (spoken and written) is mandatory.
