Role: Senior Backend Engineer

Location: New York

Compensation: $200,000 base+ (depending on experience)

Harrison Clarke are partnered with a high-growth VC-backed AI company operating at the intersection of enterprise technology and intelligent automation. The company are building tools that enable people to create, automate, and scale complex workflows. The platform serves a large and growing global user base and operates at significant scale.

They are looking for someone who knows how to build 0-1 customer-facing AI-native products and have seen those products scale.

Role Requirements:

• Design, build, and operate backend services that support a rapidly growing platform.
• Work across product and infrastructure boundaries to deliver features end-to-end.
• Own features end-to-end, from architecture and implementation through to deployment and iteration.
• Improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Profile Signals:

• Technical background: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 4+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, backend architecture, and scalability
• Proficiency in modern backend technologies such as with Python or Go, RESTful API's, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Kafka
• A passion for building high-quality systems that unlock genuine productivity gains for technical teams.
