Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate enterprise platform services on Azure, including compute, storage, networking, and integration capabilities.
- Develop and maintain reusable platform frameworks for ingestion, orchestration, automation, and workflow execution.
- Build and support infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and modern CI/CD practices.
- Implement platform observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
- Build secure, scalable, and resilient systems that meet defined SLAs and operational requirements.
- Implement and support system integration patterns including APIs, event-driven architectures, and batch processing frameworks.
- Partner with Data Engineering, Application Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities.
- Support onboarding of new technologies, business systems, and acquisitions onto the platform ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis and remediation.
- Contribute to platform standards, documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms on Azure.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
- Experience supporting distributed systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of networking, identity and access management, security controls, and cloud architecture principles.
- Experience implementing observability solutions including logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
- Familiarity with modern integration patterns including APIs, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics platforms, or integration platforms.
- Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, Azure Storage, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Fivetran, or similar platforms from an infrastructure and enablement perspective.
- Experience operating systems in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Wealth Management, Healthcare, or Insurance.
- Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and multi-region deployments.
- Exposure to AI/ML platform infrastructure requirements.
- Azure, AWS, or GCP certifications.
- This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
