Azure Systems Administrator

*This is a full-time position that will be onsite 4 days per week near downtown Austin. Candidates must be local to the Austin area. 

Qualifications
Required

• Foundational understanding of Microsoft Azure services (VMs, storage, networking, Azure AD / Entra ID)
• Working knowledge of Active Directory administration — users, groups, and group policy
• Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established processes and escalation paths
• Ability to document work clearly and communicate technical issues to senior team members

Preferred

• Fundamental understanding of networking to support Cloud Network Infrastructure
• Exposure to Azure Monitor, Azure Policy, or Azure Cost Management, and Veeam Backup
• Familiarity with hybrid AD environments (AD Connect / Entra Connect)
• Basic scripting ability in PowerShell for routine administrative tasks

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
   

Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience in an IT administration role
