We are looking for a dedicated Data Engineer to join our technology team in a key role to support data management, integration, and transformation across the organization.

🔎 What do you need to have?

  • Solid experience in data engineering: ingestion, transformation, storage, and availability of data in both cloud and on-premise environments;
  • Hands-on knowledge of languages such as Python and SQL, as well as data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, dbt, or equivalent);
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data services (Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse, Databricks, or similar);
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools and pipelines (Airflow, Prefect, etc.), and CI/CD practices for data;
  • Ability to model data, create robust schemas and ensure data quality and governance;
  • Thoroughness, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (product, analytics, operations);
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and process automation.

🧾 What would your responsibilities be?

  • Design, implement and maintain scalable and resilient data pipelines to support reporting, analytics, and data-driven products;
  • Implement batch and streaming data ingestion and transformation processes, ensuring performance and reliability;
  • Collaborate with business and analytics teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and suitable data models;
  • Ensure data quality practices: testing, monitoring, alerting, and documentation;
  • Manage and optimize storage and processing platforms (data lakes, data warehouses);
  • Participate in the definition and implementation of data governance, security, and compliance policies;
  • Contribute to the automation of deployments and pipeline maintenance (CI/CD), and to the reduction of technical debt;
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practices and internal enablement around data engineering.

🎯 What we value

  • Previous experience in organizations with large volumes of data or regulated sectors (utilities, finance, telecoms) is a plus;
  • Knowledge of observability and pipeline monitoring tools;
  • Experience with dimensional modeling and query acceleration/virtualization tools;
  • Certifications in cloud providers and data tools will be valued;
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
