Role Description The Azure Solutions Architect will design, implement, and oversee cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure for enterprise and mid-market clients. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Lagos State, Nigeria, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing business requirements, defining solution architectures, and leading the technical design of secure, scalable, and resilient Azure environments. The role involves working closely with consulting teams, software developers, and integration specialists to ensure solutions are properly implemented, documented, and optimized. The Azure Solutions Architect will also contribute to technical roadmaps, perform architecture reviews, support pre-sales activities, and provide guidance on best practices, governance, and cost optimization in Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Define logical and physical Azure architecture across compute, storage, networking, and integration tiers.

• Architect Azure Document Intelligence into the end-to-end solution, including model strategy, throughput, and accuracy/cost trade-offs.

• Design the integration architecture between Azure services and SharePoint Online (content ingestion, metadata write-back, search, and lifecycle).

• Select and govern appropriate Azure and Microsoft 365 services and define reference AZURE AIpatterns.

• Define integration patterns, non-functional requirements, and security/identity architecture.

• Review designs and code for architectural compliance and Azure Well-Architected alignment.

Required Skills & Technologies

• Core Azure architecture (compute, storage, networking, integration, security)

• Azure Document Intelligence — solution-level design and integration

• SharePoint Online integration architecture (Microsoft Graph, content/metadata flows)

• Identity & access management (Entra ID / Azure AD)

• Integration and API design (API Management, Logic Apps, event-driven patterns)

• Azure Well-Architected Framework

Experience Level

8+ years enterprise architecture, with deep hands-on Azure design experience; 3+ large cloud or EDMS programs, including at least one involving Azure Document Intelligence and SharePoint Online integration.

Certifications

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (required).
