Senior Azure Migration Specialist (f/m/x)

We are looking for a skilled Senior Infrastructure Administrator to join a large-scale cloud transformation project focused on migrating approximately 150 Virtual Machines to Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure landing zone and target architecture, as well as modernizing SQL Server workloads and implementing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions. This position is fully remote, allowing you to collaborate with a talented team while working from anywhere in Poland. Your tasks

• Driving a large-scale cloud transformation project with an aggressive delivery timeline
• Managing the migration of Virtual Machines to Microsoft Azure using a rehost approach
• Modernizing SQL Server workloads and implementing Azure SQL technologies
• Replacing on-premises File Servers and NetApp NAS shares with Azure Files
• Designing and implementing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Host Pools
• Delivering a secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure landing zone and target architecture
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives
• Leading technical workshops, assessments, and architecture reviews

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure infrastructure
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Migrate, and Azure Backup & Site Recovery
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL and SQL Server migration and optimization
• Strong command of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Practical experience with Azure Virtual Network (VNet) and Network Security Groups (NSGs)
• Proven experience delivering large-scale Azure migration projects, including environments with 100+ servers
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills
• Advanced level of English

Nice to have

• Experience with VPN and ExpressRoute
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and PowerShell
• Experience with Azure DevOps
