Maynooth University wishes to appoint an IT Business Intelligence Manager on a full-time permanent basis. This appointment at SAOIV Grade will report the Head of Enterprise Solutions within IT Services.
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and committed professional to manage IT Services’ implementation, administration, and optimization of Business Intelligence (BI) and CRM systems, ensuring platforms align with University objectives for user (staff, student & stakeholder) engagement, operational efficiency, governance, security, and data driven decision making. The role will involve managing a cross functional BI/CRM Unit which is set to expand from 2 people currently, growing to 6/7 people inclusive of manager (including CRM specialists, senior data analyst, integration engineer). The IT Business Intelligence Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding the BI/CRM team into a high-performing unit, fostering capability development, implementing best practices, and building a collaborative culture to support the University’s growing data and analytics needs. The role involves collaborating closely with the Head of area and the Business Systems Manager, and across Enterprise Solutions, functional areas to deliver a harmonized CRM ecosystem and a modern analytics platform centred on packaged CRM solutions, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Azure tabular/semantic models using Microsoft Fabric.
Salary
Senior Administrative Officer IV: €71,441- €113,437 p.a. (7 points)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
