Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure, basic Networking)

Optomi, in partnership with an industry-leading enterprise organization, is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Network Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, building, and supporting a growing Azure cloud environment that powers critical business applications. This engineer will have the opportunity to help define cloud networking standards, improve security, and take ownership of a rapidly evolving Azure infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, build, and support enterprise Azure cloud infrastructure across multiple regions.
• Develop secure networking solutions including Private Endpoints, VNets, NSGs, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Build and standardize cloud infrastructure instead of one-off solutions, creating scalable and repeatable architectures.
• Support integrations between Azure services, APIs, and enterprise platforms including Databricks and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Implement secure authentication and secrets management using Azure Key Vault and private endpoint connectivity.
• Partner with infrastructure and application teams to improve cloud architecture, security, and operational excellence.
• Take ownership of the Azure networking environment and help establish long-term cloud engineering best practices.

Must-Have Experience:

• 4+ years of Infrastructure, Cloud, or Network Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Deep understanding of Azure networking including VNets, Private Endpoints, DNS, routing, and secure connectivity.
• Experience securing cloud environments and integrating enterprise applications using APIs.
• Experience supporting multi-region Azure deployments.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, infrastructure architecture, and security best practices.

Nice to Have:

• Azure Key Vault experience.
• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• SAP S/4HANA or ERP cloud infrastructure experience.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, etc.).
• Azure networking certifications.
