We serve enterprise logistics and transport clients across Europe and North America, helping them monitor fleet performance, reduce fuel costs, and meet increasingly demanding carbon reporting requirements (CSRD, ETS2, ISO 14083).

Role Description

We're looking for a Senior Network & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in enterprise networking, hybrid infrastructure, and Microsoft Azure.

This is not a generalist admin role. We need a true infrastructure specialist who can design, implement, secure, and optimize production-grade network and cloud platforms across on-premises and Azure environments — and own these topics end-to-end with a high level of technical autonomy.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and hybrid connectivity architectures

• Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2/Layer 3 services: VLANs, trunking, STP/RSTP, OSPF, BGP, static routing, inter-VLAN routing, ACLs, NAT, and policy-based routing

• Administer secure connectivity including IPsec site-to-site VPN, SSL VPN, ExpressRoute, and private connectivity models

• Build and operate Azure network services: Virtual Networks, NSGs, ASGs, UDRs, VNet peering, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, Bastion, VPN Gateway, Private Link, and Private Endpoints

• Design resilient hub-and-spoke and hybrid landing-zone architectures with strong segmentation and zero-trust-aligned access patterns

• Lead deep troubleshooting using Wireshark, tcpdump, traceroute, flow analysis, and diagnostic tooling

• Implement monitoring, alerting, log correlation, and operational baselines to improve observability and MTTR

• Contribute to infrastructure hardening, vulnerability remediation, DR planning, and high-availability/failover design

What We Expect

• Strong command of TCP/IP, subnetting, CIDR, ARP, DHCP, DNS, NAT/PAT, MTU behavior, QoS, and traffic engineering

• Advanced routing and switching expertise: OSPF, BGP, VRRP/HSRP, VLAN segmentation, ACL strategy, packet-flow analysis

• Hands-on Azure networking: Virtual Network design, Azure Firewall, WAF, DDoS protection, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Azure DNS, Private Link, Network Watcher

• Solid understanding of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, RBAC, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and least-privilege access models

• Experience with enterprise firewall/security platforms (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, or equivalent)

• Good working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, backup, and DR patterns

• Infrastructure as Code experience: PowerShell, Bash, Python, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure CLI

Preferred Experience & Certifications

• 7+ years in network/infrastructure engineering, including 3+ years hands-on Azure production experience

• Experience in multi-site, enterprise, or mission-critical environments with hybrid cloud connectivity and security constraints

• Microsoft certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-700, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Network Engineer Associate

• Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, or equivalent vendor certifications

• Ability to produce high-quality HLD/LLD documentation, topology diagrams, runbooks, and root-cause analyses
