Azure Cloud Engineer – Enterprise Cloud Environment (Belgium)

About the Role

We are looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to join a growing cloud-focused environment supporting the design, deployment, and optimisation of Microsoft Azure infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work across cloud operations, automation, and modernisation initiatives within a complex enterprise landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services
• Support cloud migration and transformation projects
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise Azure environments
• Implement security, governance, and best practice standards across cloud platforms
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and business teams to deliver cloud solutions
• Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous improvement of cloud operations

Your Profile

Core Requirements

• Strong interest in cloud technologies with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
• Ability to take ownership of technical challenges and deliver effective solutions
• Motivated to learn and develop within a modern cloud environment
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within technical teams

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Understanding of Azure networking, virtual machines, storage, and identity management
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of cloud security and governance principles
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code, automation, or DevOps practices is advantageous
• Azure certifications are considered a plus

Languages

• Native Dutch
• French and/or English would be advantageous
