LHH is partnering with a growing organization in Palm Beach County to identify a Cloud Networking / System Administrator. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who thrives in a Microsoft-focused cloud environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.

💼 Overview

In this role, you will support and maintain a Microsoft Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring system performance, reliability, and security. You will also serve as a key escalation point for advanced technical issues across cloud, network, and systems environments.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Systems Administration

• Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
• Manage cloud-based systems, ensuring performance and availability
• Support SQL Server environments
• Maintain system security, patching, and health monitoring

Escalation Support

• Act as a Tier II/III escalation resource for complex technical issues
• Troubleshoot cloud, network, and system-related incidents
• Resolve high-priority tickets and critical outages

Infrastructure & Network Support

• Support networking infrastructure including VPNs, firewalls, and connectivity
• Monitor system health, performance, and uptime
• Assist with cloud optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a Microsoft-centric technology environment

🧰 Technical Environment

• Fully cloud-based Microsoft Azure environment
• Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server, Azure AD, etc.)
• SQL Server
• JIRA ticketing system
• Supporting ~140 end users

✅ Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure environments
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
• Systems administration experience within Microsoft environments
• Proven experience supporting escalation-level technical issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

➕ Preferred Qualifications

• PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Active Directory / identity and access management
• Firewall, VPN, and network security experience
• Backup and disaster recovery knowledge
• Monitoring and performance management tools experience
• MSP (Managed Service Provider) background strongly preferred
• Experience supporting multiple environments or business units
• SQL Server experience
• Exposure to cybersecurity best practices
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for troubleshooting or documentation

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $90,000 – $100,000
• Bonus potential + comprehensive benefits package

• Hybrid schedule based in Palm Beach County, FL
