We're working with an established automotive organisation that continues to invest in technology to support its operations and future growth. They're looking for a Cloud Engineer to join their Infrastructure team, playing a key role in maintaining and developing a secure, resilient and scalable cloud environment while supporting networking and infrastructure projects across the business.

THE CLOUD ENGINEER ROLE

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing the organisation's Microsoft Azure environment while helping to manage the wider network and infrastructure estate. You'll work across both cloud and on-premise technologies, ensuring services remain secure, reliable and highly available.

You'll play an active role in infrastructure projects, from planning and implementation through to testing, documentation and handover. Working closely with colleagues and third-party suppliers, you'll contribute to the continual improvement of cloud services, network performance and operational resilience across multiple locations.

CLOUD ENGINEER – ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Commercial experience supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP and VPNs
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki technologies
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premise environments
• Knowledge of cloud security, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity
• Experience working within an ITIL environment
• PowerShell scripting or automation experience would be beneficial
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills
