Azure Architect

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Solution Lead between 8 to 12 years who will drive end-to-end solution design and delivery across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, hands-on experience with modern cloud and data technologies, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Data Architecture

• Define and own end-to-end data architecture and solution design aligned with business objectives and strategic goals.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance architectural solutions.
• Lead solutioning across data engineering, analytics, and integration streams.
• Architect solutions leveraging Azure ecosystem, Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• Establish architectural standards, frameworks, and reusable components.

2. Technical Leadership

• Provide strong technical leadership across data engineering, analytics, and integration teams.
• Guide development teams on best practices in coding, data processing, and cloud implementations.
• Conduct architecture reviews, design validations, and code reviews.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in solution delivery.

3. Multi-Workstream Management

• Manage and coordinate multiple parallel workstreams/projects with competing priorities.
• Ensure alignment across workstreams, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies proactively.
• Ensure consistent delivery quality across all streams.

4. Technology Expertise & Delivery

• Lead solution implementation using:
• Azure Cloud Services
• Azure Databricks
• SQL platforms
• Python-based solutions
• Design and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics workflows.
• Ensure robust integration across systems and platforms.

5. Scalability, Performance & Security

• Ensure adherence to best practices in scalability, performance, and security across all solutions.
• Design solutions capable of handling large-scale data and high-throughput workloads.
• Implement monitoring, optimization, and performance tuning strategies.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.

6. DevOps & Agile Execution

• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Drive Agile execution using tools such as JIRA.
• Promote automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
• Improve delivery efficiency through DevOps maturity and tooling.

7. Stakeholder Management & Strategic Leadership

• Act as the key interface for stakeholders for:
• Solutioning discussions
• Technology roadmaps
• Strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and enterprise architects.
• Drive alignment between business vision and technical execution.
• Communicate solution strategy, progress, risks, and decisions effectively.

8. Governance & Best Practices

• Define and enforce standards, frameworks, and governance models.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, compliance, and security policies.
• Drive best practices across development, data management, and solution delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in:
• Microsoft Azure (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, etc.)
• Azure Databricks
• SQL (Advanced querying, optimization)
• Python (data engineering, scripting, automation)
• Hands-on experience in DevOps (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience working with Agile tools such as JIRA.

Leadership & Functional Skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong experience in end-to-end solutioning and architecture design.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale cloud transformation or data platform modernization programs.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solution Architect, Azure Data Engineer).
• Experience in defining enterprise data platforms and analytics ecosystems.
