About the Role
We are a small, agile organization seeking a hands-on AI Azure Architect to join our growing Innovation Team. This is a brand new position created to drive forward our AI and collaboration technology initiatives — including implementing Microsoft Fabric, redesigning our intranet on SharePoint Online, and supporting AI, Copilot, and SharePoint-driven projects across the organization.
This role is built for a true hands-on contributor, not a theorist or pure strategist. As part of a lean team of 4-5 people, you'll need to roll up your sleeves and directly build, configure, and implement solutions — while also bringing strong conceptual understanding of AI to guide decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of Microsoft Fabric across the organization
- Drive the redevelopment and redesign of the company intranet using SharePoint Online (SPO)
- Provide hands-on Azure administration and architecture support
- Contribute to and support existing projects with AI, Copilot, or SharePoint components
- Collaborate closely with the Innovation Team and key stakeholders across departments
- Bring deep, working knowledge of Copilot Studio to active projects
- Apply hands-on Azure expertise to ensure scalable, secure, and well-architected solutions
First Six Months — Priorities
- Successfully implement Microsoft Fabric
- Lead the redesign of the company intranet on SharePoint Online
- Actively contribute to ongoing AI, Copilot, and SharePoint-related initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in Azure administration (not solely theoretical or advisory experience)
- Deep, practical knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
- Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online (SPO), including intranet design/redesign
- Experience with Copilot Studio
- Strong conceptual understanding of AI principles and how they apply to enterprise systems
- Comfortable operating as an individual contributor within a small, hands-on team
- Must be based in or willing to work from the Atlanta area (hybrid or on-site)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Copilot Foundry (significant plus)
- Experience in the legal industry (a plus, but not required — candidates from all industries are welcome)
