Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • Experience in cloud migration or modernization projects
  • Experience to migrate on premises to cloud (Lift & Shift, Re-platforming, Re-architecting)
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services
  • Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS
  • Azure Storage (Blob, File, Queue)
  • Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
  • Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using:
  • ARM templates / Bicep
  • Terraform
  • Experience with:
  • Networking (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers)
  • Identity management (Azure AD / Entra ID)
  • Disaster Recovery (Azure Backup, Site Recovery)
  • Hands-on experience with scripting: PowerShell / Azure CLI
  • Experience to Implement Azure security best practices:
  • Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel
  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines using:
  • Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
  • Automate deployments, monitoring, and scaling
  • Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS)
  • Use tools like:
  • Azure Monitor
  • Log Analytics
  • Application Insights
  • Optimize cloud cost using cost management tools and best practices
