About the role:

• A hybrid environment (Entra/Azure and Active AD on prem)
• IIS migrations specifically upgrades or migrations to new servers and migrations to Azure Web App
• Terraform experience - building out the platform from scratch
• SQL server upgrades, migrations to new servers and migration to Azure SQL
• Managing SSL certs, PKI cert management and cert lifecycle management
• PowerShell, scripting in general
• Experience with Azure Firewall and migration from SonicWall NSV or any other firewall to Azure Firewall
• Networking Experience - deploying, configuring, managing switches, routers, firewalls.
• Experience with deploying Azure Sentinel
• Experience with deploying and managing syslog servers
• Experience with Azure Log Analytics and ensuring there are logs for all VMs
• Experience migrating hybrid devices to Entra joined devices
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop - troubleshooting, managing, configuring, migrations from hybrid to Entra
• Experience with traditional file servers - configuring devices to be able to connect via a traditional file server from Entra joined devices (deploying custom scripts for connectivity)
• Experience migrating traditional file servers to Azure Files and SharePoint
• Experience with deploying SharePoint sites as well as creating Teams sites that have a SharePoint backend for department share drives
• Experience with O365, Exchange Online, Exchange On Prem, migrations from Exchange On Prem to Exchange Online, Purview, DLP policies, Encryption, Teams, Defender
• Experience with Azure WAF, DataBrick, Fabric, Azure SFTP, Migrations to Azure SFTP
• Vulnerability management, addressing vulnerabilities,
• Working with backup solutions (Veeam, CommVault, etc)
• Experience with NPS/Radius Servers, migrations to Entra based auth for Radius, managing DCs, migrating off on prem DCs to cloud based only
• Experience with Azure Disaster Recovery, having multiple instances of Azure environment to ensure zero downtime
• Email security - spf, dkim, dmarc and managing multiple domains
• Experience with Microsoft’s Security portal - managing, deploying, configuring to best practices
