IT Interns (8 Weeks)

Hoover-Schrum Memorial School District 157 is seeking a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership.

• Gain hands-on experience in an IT position
• Shadowing and training experiences with knowledgeable professionals
• Opportunity to attend networking events and company meetings
• Flexible schedule for students

• Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
• Organize and maintain IT resources
• Lend IT support in areas such as hardware, network, programming, analytics, and data center management.
• Any other given responsibilities by the Technology Director.

• Currently enrolled in a Post-secondary program as Sophomore, Junior or Senior in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems major or 6-12 Months of documented Previous IT Training and Certification(s).
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Punctual, reliable, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail, ability to work well in a team environment.
