About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to automate deployments, improve system reliability, and optimize cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.

Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

Monitor system performance, availability, and security, ensuring high uptime and reliability.

Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.

Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.

Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.

Ensure compliance with security best practices and cloud governance standards.

Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.

Participate in system upgrades, disaster recovery planning, and capacity planning.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 5+ years of DevOps experience, including 3+ years working with AWS Cloud.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Route 53, CloudFront, and Auto Scaling.

Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Strong experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Proficiency in Linux system administration.

Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

Strong understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and cloud security.

Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK Stack.

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or other AWS certifications.

Experience with serverless architectures.

Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
