About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud & DevOps Solution Architect to join our Global Systems & Infrastructure organization. In this role, you will lead cloud transformation initiatives, design modern hybrid cloud architectures and actively contribute to technical implementations when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, planning, and technical execution of migrating on-premises environments (VMware, Windows, Linux, SAP, and enterprise applications) to cloud platforms, primarily Microsoft Azure.
• Design and, when necessary, implement Azure infrastructure components such as Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and other Azure services.
• Design and develop Hybrid Cloud and Multi-Cloud architectures.
• Define enterprise Kubernetes and container platform architectures.
• Collaborate with software development teams to establish Git-based development practices and contribute to repository design using GitHub or Azure DevOps.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or Jenkins.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible.
• Design and lead the implementation of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity solutions.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Establish technical standards and best practices, mentor engineering teams, and lead the adoption of emerging cloud and DevOps technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems, infrastructure, or cloud technologies.
• At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, Platform Architect, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and exposure to AWS and/or Huawei Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container technologies.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and/or Azure DevOps.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or Jenkins.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible.
• Automation experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, and VMware.
• Experience with HA, DR, and Business Continuity.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, QRadar or similar.
• Strong written and spoken English.
