AWS Solution Architect

Support the SWO Business development team to help formulate a strategy to help the adoption of AWS within the focus industry verticals. 

Guide customers to ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services following the principles of the AWS Well-Architected Framework. 

Help educate enterprise customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. 

Help provide one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS. 

Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architecture community. 

Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as blogs and white papers. 

Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates. 

Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support. 

Basic Qualifications 

What we need to see from you:

7years of experience in the design and implementation of IT solutions (including scalable cloud-based solutions and microservices architectures) 

Experience with automation to deploy and manage infrastructure, database and networking architectures for Internet-scale applications 

Experience in Systems Administration of Windows and/or Linux 

Experience with network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Routing 

Experience presenting to diverse customer base ( CTOs, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and developers) 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 

Preferred Qualifications 

7 +years’ experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as consultant, solutions engineer or solutions architect 

Experience with SoftwareONE Web Services 

AWS Architecture experience 

AWS Solution Architect Certificates; Associates, Developer, Professional
