Co-investments Senior Associate

A leading global investment firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its private markets investment team focused on primary fund investments and co-investments transactions across global private equity strategies.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced investment professionals evaluating and executing investments across a broad range of sectors, geographies, and private market strategies. The team invests across venture capital, growth equity, leveraged buyouts, and special situations, supporting institutional clients worldwide. The position works closely with senior investment professionals on lean deal teams and contributes to both transaction execution and broader strategic initiatives.

Position Overview

The Senior Associate will play an integral role in the investment process, including:

• Investment sourcing and evaluation
• Financial analysis and valuation modeling
• Due diligence coordination
• Portfolio monitoring and performance analysis
• Market and industry research
• Preparation of investment recommendations and presentations

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate private equity fund, co-investment, and secondary opportunities
• Conduct detailed financial modeling and investment return analyses
• Perform industry, company, and macroeconomic research
• Participate in meetings with investment managers and company executives
• Support portfolio monitoring and investment reporting activities
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional strategic projects related to technology, business development, sourcing, and operational initiatives
• Mentor and guide junior investment professionals throughout the diligence and underwriting process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a highly regarded university; MBA preferred
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in co-investments or PE background
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities, including proficiency with building LBO models
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments
• Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in private markets investing
