DevOps & Cloud Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico

Salary: MXN $33,000 to $50,141 gross per month, depending on experience.


About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps / Cloud Operations Engineer to provide support to a major U.S.-based education technology company.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with AWS or Azure, Linux, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, incident response, and Kanban-based delivery management.


Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Cloud Operations, DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure teams.
  • Strong hands-on Linux systems administration and troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong production experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or similar technologies.
  • Experience supporting production applications, deployments, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational remediation.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, or Azure Monitor.
  • Scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
