Cloud Engineer (AWS)
We're looking for a Cloud Engineer to join a leading consulting client supporting enterprise cloud transformation projects.
This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure, Linux servers, cloud migrations, and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Manage Linux and Windows servers across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Deploy and maintain cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Work with development teams on application deployments and troubleshooting.
- Support Oracle database environments and infrastructure.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation.
- Monitor, optimize and secure cloud environments.
- Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Prepare technical documentation and support operational excellence.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Cloud / Infrastructure Engineering experience
- Strong AWS experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Route53, etc.)
- Linux administration
- Knowledge of Oracle Database
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
- Scripting (Python, Bash or PowerShell)
- CI/CD experience
- AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps certification is highly preferred
Nice to Have
- IIS administration
- Kubernetes / Docker
- DevOps automation
- Government Cloud (GCC) experience
