Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, security, and cloud-native technologies. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to build reliable and secure cloud platforms that support business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Monitor cloud environments using CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, or similar tools.
  • Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies, encryption, and compliance controls.
  • Automate operational tasks through scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Support cloud migration, modernization, and platform optimization initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Route 53, and API Gateway.
  • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration and networking concepts.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
