Job Title - AWS GovCloud Engineer 


Location - EST/CST (Remote)


About the Role:


We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to contribute to the development of a next-generation platform based on AWS. This role involves collaborating closely with team members and strategic partners to ensure the successful delivery of the project. The focus will be on cloud infrastructure, automation, integration, and security, ensuring a scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  1. AWS Cloud Engineering: Utilize strong AWS expertise to build and support cloud infrastructure for the next-generation platform.

  2. Infrastructure Automation: Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and other automation tools.

  3. Cloud Services Management: Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS services such as:

    1. AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions (for orchestration & automation)

    2. Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS DMS, AWS Direct Connect (for data processing & movement)

    3. AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail (for security & monitoring)

    4. AWS Clean Rooms, AWS Marketplace Sandbox (for data collaboration)



  4. Data Processing & Integration: Work with AWS Glue, AWS App Flow, and Delta Sharing to enable secure and efficient data exchange across the platform.

  5. Security & Governance: Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.

  6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and strategic partners.


Qualifications:



  1. Proven experience in AWS cloud engineering and infrastructure management.

  2. Strong knowledge of AWS automation tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

  3. Experience with cloud security, governance, and monitoring tools.

  4. Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments with global teams.

  5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:



  1. Experience working with data lifecycle management and metadata cataloging.

  2. Knowledge of Databricks and data sharing platforms (e.g., Delta Sharing).

  3. Previous experience in large-scale cloud transformation projects.

  4. AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
