Lumicity is partnered with a robotics & autonomy start-up in New York City. Looking for Simulation Engineers across all levels - from entry-level recent graduates through to senior and lead engineers.
Hands-on simulation work across robotics, sensors, and autonomous systems, with direct customer impact and end-to-end ownership.
Requirements:
- Experience with robotics simulation tools (Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or similar)
- Strong Python skills; C++ or Rust a plus
- Exposure to robotics sensing systems (cameras, lidar, radar)
- ROS / ROS2 experience beneficial
- BS or MS in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- For Senior/Lead profiles: 5+ years at a high-signal robotics or autonomy organization (Waymo, Tesla, Nvidia, Applied Intuition or similar)
- For Junior/Entry-level profiles: strong academic project work, research lab experience, or internships from a top engineering program welcomed
