Your mission is to guarantee the structural integrity and quality of the vehicle body through the mastery of joining technologies and the implementation of Group Standards.

• Specialist for process and joining technology (welding or fastening).
• Release responsibility for the joining strength of the joining processes in the vehicle project.
• Representation of the CoC joining technology in the vehicle projects.
• Rapporteur for the project management, technology leader and other committees for the joint strength status in the respective project phases.
• Implementation and monitoring of escalation issues with a technical joining point of view.
• Coordination of all enabling measures for joining processes and equipments.
• Coordination and steering of all enabling measures during pre-series production to reach the joining strength quality targets BIW with start VS0.
• Responsibility for the release of joining strength in body in white.
• Monitoring of all joining relevant key figures (including purchases parts).
• Support and advisory for joining topics in integration and Re-Use issues.

What should you bring along?

We are seeking a highly specialized engineer with a deep understanding of robotic joining processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in joining: Fastening and welding technologies.
• 5+ years within the Automotive Industry.
• Strong experience in ePDCA, Six Sigma, and problem-solving for technical availability.
• Fluen business English.
