Key Responsibilities
- Own ROS2 nodes and interfaces for perception, localization, planning, and control
- Implement and tune SLAM/localization pipelines and evaluate trajectory quality
- Build perception components using computer vision and sensor fusion (camera/LiDAR/IMU)
- Develop motion planning and behavior logic with safety constraints and edge-case handling
- Improve control loops, calibration workflows, and system stability in real-world conditions
- Create simulation scenarios (Gazebo or similar) and regression test harnesses
- Analyze logs, metrics, and failure modes to drive reliability improvements
- Collaborate with hardware, QA, and product to deliver deployable robot software releases
- Mid-Senior experience delivering robotics/autonomy features in production or advanced prototypes
- Strong C++ and Python with solid software engineering practices
- Hands-on ROS2 experience (topics, services, actions, tf2, message definitions)
- Practical understanding of SLAM, localization, sensor fusion, and state estimation
- Comfortable in Linux with Docker and CI-style workflows
