Overview

Build and maintain robotics software that connects perception, localization, planning, and control into dependable autonomy capabilities. This is a full-time, remote role for mid-senior engineers focused on production-grade robotics systems and simulation-to-real validation.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement robotics software components for perception, localization, mapping, planning, and control
  • Develop ROS2 nodes, topics, services, TF, launch files, and integration tooling
  • Integrate sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMU, GPS) and build robust sensor fusion pipelines
  • Implement SLAM/localization and state estimation; tune accuracy and runtime performance
  • Build motion planning and navigation behaviors with safe, stable control loops
  • Create simulation-to-real validation using Gazebo and automated testing/CI
  • Add observability via logging, diagnostics, telemetry, and failure-mode analysis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on APIs, message schemas, and integration standards

Required Qualifications

  • Mid-senior experience shipping robotics or autonomy software
  • Strong C++ and Python skills with debugging and performance optimization
  • Hands-on ROS2 experience
  • Understanding of SLAM, sensor fusion, and probabilistic state estimation basics
  • Experience with motion planning, control systems, simulation, and Docker-based workflows
