Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical safety and regulatory compliance framework for EV fast‑charging products across the full product lifecycle
  • Define, interpret, and maintain applicable norms, standards, and regulatory requirements for products and equipment developed by R&D
  • Perform system‑level risk analyses and safety assessments, drive the definition and implementation of mitigating measures in close collaboration with R&D and system engineering
  • Draft and maintain technical documentation required for regulatory approval, including risk assessments, test plans and declarations of conformity
  • Support new market entry analyses, identifying regulatory gaps, risks, and required compliance activities
  • Coordinate and support certification and approval processes with accredited test laboratories and notified bodies
  • Act as a technical interface between R&D and external compliance partners

Your Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related technical subject
  • Hands-on experience in technical safety and regulatory compliance for electrical or electronic products
  • Solid understanding of electrical safety and regulatory compliance for complex technical systems, preferably in EV charging infrastructure, power electronics, or grid-connected products
  • Proven experience with CE conformity procedures and European directives, including the Low Voltage Directive (LVD), the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and the Machinery Directive (where applicable)
  • Experience supporting type approval and certification processes with test houses and authorities
  • Knowledge of Eichrecht/MessEG/EV regulation is advantageous
  • Fluency in English as well as German and/or Italian

  • Total compensation (for Italy): € 64.000 - € 96.000 including 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement

Should the position's responsibilities, seniority level, or location differ during the recruitment process, the applicable compensation range may be adjusted accordingly, in line with local market conditions and internal compensation frameworks.
