Engineering Services Manager – Automotive Aftermarket


Pensacola, FL | Full-Time | On-Site

We combine engineering discipline, technical validation, and global supply chain expertise to develop products customers can rely on.


We are seeking a highly technical and hands-on Engineering Services Manager to lead supplier technical evaluation, engineering validation, and product approval activities across our global supply chain. This role plays a critical part in ensuring manufacturing capability, technical consistency, and product quality throughout the development and sourcing process.


This position is ideal for an experienced engineering or technical operations professional who understands manufacturing processes, supplier development, technical documentation, and product validation within an automotive or industrial environment.


The Engineering Services Manager will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Quality, Operations, Distribution, and Sales Teams while serving as a key technical resource for supplier qualification and product validation initiatives.


Candidates must currently be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.


What You’ll Do


Lead Supplier Technical Qualification & Development

  • Lead supplier selection, qualification, and ongoing approval activities in accordance with Holstein technical and quality standards
  • Conduct supplier technical audits, manufacturing capability assessments, and process reviews
  • Evaluate supplier engineering and manufacturing documentation for technical accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain supplier approval status and technical compliance tracking
  • Support continuous supplier development and process improvement initiatives


Drive Engineering Validation & Product Approval

  • Review and approve:
  • 2D engineering drawings
  • CAD models and technical files
  • Process documentation
  • Inspection and validation data
  • Product test results
  • Develop and standardize Holstein-controlled engineering documentation
  • Define validation requirements and approval criteria for new product introductions
  • Establish testing and verification protocols when required
  • Support first article inspection and product validation activities


Support Product Development & Global Supply Chain Execution

  • Partner with Product Management on new product development and sourcing strategies
  • Collaborate with overseas suppliers to obtain and validate technical documentation
  • Coordinate with Quality and Operations teams to resolve supplier and product-related issues
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to warranty claims and field failures
  • Assist in scaling technical validation processes to support company growth


Provide Technical Support Across the Organization

  • Support Sales and customer-facing teams with technical product information and validation support
  • Assist with technical troubleshooting and product-related inquiries
  • Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and validation documentation
  • Support internal training and continuous improvement initiatives


What We’re Looking For


Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, product validation, technical services, or related technical operations roles
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with global manufacturing suppliers and outsourced production environments
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple technical projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Experience

  • Automotive aftermarket or automotive manufacturing experience
  • Experience working with Asian manufacturing suppliers and technical teams
  • Experience with supplier audits, APQP, PPAP, validation, or quality systems
  • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 or structured quality systems
  • Experience supporting product development and technical sourcing activities
  • Mandarin Chinese language skills are highly desirable
