Job Summary:

The EU Labeling & Product Notification Submission Specialist II will be responsible for the end-to-end management of product labeling compliance and regulatory notification submissions across EU member states. This highly detail-oriented role ensures that all products are accurately labeled and properly registered prior to market entry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough label reviews across all product categories to ensure full compliance with EU labeling requirements (ingredients, allergens, nutrition declarations, claims, country of origin, etc.)

  • Manage product notification submissions to EU member states across relevant portals and systems (e.g., CPNP for cosmetics, EFSA novel food notifications, national food supplement notification portals)

  • Work on improving internal tools and optimize notification efficiency for existing and new products/ suppliers

  • Maintain and manage an organized internal database of label versions, submission records, and approval statuses by market and product

  • Collaborate closely with the EU Compliance Specialist and Sustainability Specialist to align labeling with regulatory and sustainability requirements

  • Liaise with marketing, design, and product development teams to communicate labeling requirements early in the product lifecycle

  • Ensure all product documentation (COAs, safety assessments, GMP records) is accurately filed and associated with the correct product notifications

  • Support fulfillment center compliance by ensuring traceability documentation and labeling are aligned

  • Track regulatory deadlines and renewal requirements for product notifications across all active EU member states

  • Monitor evolving EU labeling legislation and update internal templates and SOPs accordingly

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in EU product labeling and regulatory submissions

  • Hands-on experience with EU notification portals (e.g., CPNP, eProcedure, national supplement portals)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of products and submissions simultaneously

  • Familiarity with EU labeling regulations including Regulation (EU) 1169/2011, EC No 1223/2009, and relevant supplement and novel food frameworks

  • Proficiency in document management systems and compliance tracking tools

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; English fluency required, additional EU language(s) a strong asset

Equipment Knowledge:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, Food Technology, or a related field
