Position Summary:

IMG Academy is looking for a talented Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver and document high-quality software solutions.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern frameworks and technologies
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement user-friendly interfaces
• Build and integrate APIs to support application functionality
• Work with databases, ensuring optimal data modeling and performance
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Document and define disaster and succession plans for software solutions
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to enhance product development

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or similar role

• Strong proficiency in:

◦ Front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, SCSS, Liquid, Twig ◦ Back-end technologies: Ruby, PHP, Node.js ◦ Development tools: Composer, Brew, NVM/NPM ◦ Server and database management: Linux, Apache, MySQL, YAML ◦ Leveraging Claude AI

• Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience with relational and SQL databases
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Experience with version control using Git/GitHub
• Experience with Enterprise Cloudflare services
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in software engineering or related field
• Interest in sports
• Experience leveraging AI frameworks such as OpenAI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies
