- Ensures technicians deliver safe, accurate, and high-quality repairs, directly impacting customer satisfaction and reducing costly rework.
- Builds future-ready workforce capabilities by driving adoption of new technologies and certifications across the retail network.
- Deliver technical training (in-person, virtual, and hands-on) across automotive systems and emerging technologies.
- Coach technicians in-store, conduct skill gap analyses, and improve diagnostics, productivity, and repair quality.
- Develop and facilitate training programs, including ASE and internal certification preparation.
- Track training records, certifications, and effectiveness using LMS while ensuring compliance with standards.
- Partner with internal teams to design curriculum, training materials, and technical content.
- Support new product, tool, and technology launches through structured training and field enablement.
- Associate’s degree in automotive technology or related field required; equivalent experience (minimum 8 years) considered in lieu of a degree, along with Master ASE Automotive Technician certification (including L1) and additional ASE certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on diagnostic and repair experience, with exposure to automotive retail, dealership, OEM, fleet, or supplier environments.
- Advanced mechanical and diagnostic expertise across major vehicle systems, including strong knowledge of diagnostic strategies, tools, and service systems.
- Strong communication, coaching, and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts, identify skill gaps, and operate independently in a field-based environment.
- Must reside within the assigned territory and be able to travel 75–80% including overnight, with the ability to perform hands-on demonstrations, meet physical requirements, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
