🎯 The Role

We are seeking an experienced Firmware Manager to lead firmware development, embedded software engineering, and technical delivery across hardware-based products and platforms. The successful candidate will manage firmware teams, define technical strategies, oversee development processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality embedded solutions.

This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in firmware engineering, embedded systems, IoT, hardware-software integration, and engineering leadership.

🚀 What You'll Do

• Lead firmware development teams and embedded software engineering initiatives
• Define firmware architecture, development strategies, and technical roadmaps
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of embedded firmware
• Collaborate with hardware, software, product, and manufacturing teams
• Manage firmware development lifecycle including requirements, coding, testing, and validation
• Establish coding standards, engineering practices, and quality processes
• Drive firmware optimization for performance, reliability, power efficiency, and scalability
• Manage firmware releases, version control, and technical documentation
• Support hardware integration, debugging, and production readiness activities
• Evaluate emerging embedded technologies and engineering approaches
• Mentor firmware engineers and build high-performing technical teams
• Provide technical leadership and engineering insights to senior management

✅ What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field
• 8–12+ years of experience in firmware development, embedded systems engineering, or hardware-software integration
• Proven experience leading firmware or embedded engineering teams
• Strong knowledge of embedded C/C++, RTOS, microcontrollers, and hardware interfaces
• Experience managing complex firmware development projects from concept to production
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience collaborating with global engineering teams in a fully remote environment
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related discipline
• Certifications in embedded systems, IoT, software engineering, or project management
• Experience with embedded platforms and tools such as ARM Cortex-M, FreeRTOS, Zephyr, GitHub, or similar technologies
• Experience with IoT devices, automotive systems, consumer electronics, robotics, medical devices, or industrial automation
• Knowledge of embedded Linux, cybersecurity for connected devices, OTA updates, and hardware validation
• Fluency in English is required
