Cloud Enterprise Architecture

This is a remote position.

• ·Cloud Enterprise Architect with a passion for technology, the ability to understand and assess new technologies understanding their applicability to business.
• Leading cultural change for cloud adoption
• Developing and coordinating cloud architecture
• Developing a cloud strategy and coordinating the adaptation process
• Assessing applications, software and hardware
• Establish best practices for cloud across the company
• Selecting cloud providers and vetting third-party services
• Work closely with IT security to monitor privacy and develop incident-response procedures
• Managing budgets and estimating cost
• Experience in configuring and monitoring different attributes and handling scale up and scale down scenarios for the application in Cloud
• Application monitoring through operations insight, application insights
• Provide best practices around provisioning production and non-production environments on Cloud to optimize the usage.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in designing and deploying solutions on Cloud especially AWS/ Microsoft Azure/ Google platform and experience in workload migrations
• Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or other related courses
• Architecting, designing and developing applications on the AWS platform.
• Strong experience in Cloud platform Services, understanding of their capabilities and limitations and being able to architect and deliver solutions leveraging various platform services
• Strong practical application development experience on Linux and Windows-based systems.
• Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability.
• Designing and building application using Container and serverless technologies.
• Good exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration and automated deployment.
• Strong practical application development experience on Linux and Windows-based systems.
• Experience working directly with customers, partners or third-party developers.
• Have good understanding in implementation of advanced security, authentication and single sign on across cloud and on premise
• ​Experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant application architectecture.
