Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade microservices solutions. In this role, you will develop secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications using Java and modern cloud-native technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, contribute to CI/CD practices, and help deliver production-ready solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications
• Develop backend microservices using modern software engineering practices
• Contribute to the improvement of development, build, and deployment processes
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions
• Develop and integrate messaging-based and event-driven services
• Implement OAuth authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure software quality
• Support system deployment, configuration, and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Collaborate with Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in effort estimation, code reviews, and technical discussions
• Produce and maintain technical documentation
• Follow secure coding practices and implement logging and auditing mechanisms
• Develop high-quality code using Git and pull request workflows

• University degree (minimum 3-year Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Expert-level professional experience, including:
• At least 9 years of relevant experience after obtaining a 4-year university degree, or
• At least 10 years of relevant experience after obtaining a 3-year university degree
• Extensive experience developing enterprise Java applications
• Strong experience designing and implementing microservices architectures
• Experience with messaging technologies and event-driven systems
• Strong experience with OAuth authentication and authorization
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience using Git and pull request workflows
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong understanding of secure coding principles, logging, and auditing
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Professional proficiency in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem
• Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation
