AI Consultant (Physical AI / Automation, Robotics & Manufacturing)

About The Role

In this role, you will own the roadmap, requirements, and delivery focus for a dedicated Scrum team building solutions in Physical AI, industrial automation, and manufacturing technology. You will connect business goals with technical execution, shaping product direction while translating complex needs into clear specifications, user stories, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product roadmap and lifecycle for a dedicated functional stream, from concept through launch and ongoing optimization
• Own backlog priorities, requirements, and delivery trade-offs to maximize business value while supporting scalable technical decisions
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate product goals into clear technical specifications
• Drive market and customer research to identify product gaps, growth opportunities, and new development priorities
• Develop business cases, success metrics, and lifecycle recommendations based on revenue, margin, coverage, and product performance
• Maintain accurate product data, specifications, cross-references, and technical content to support sales, marketing, and delivery teams
• Support go-to-market planning through product positioning, technical input, and customer-focused messaging
• Champion Agile delivery practices, including backlog grooming, planning, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication

Requirements

• Strong experience in combined Product Management and Business Analysis roles, with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Solid background in industrial automation, IoT, robotics, or manufacturing technology, including 2–3 years in the domain
• Deep expertise in at least one area: data engineering and analytics, robotics and automation, or industrial simulation
• Strong understanding of heavy machinery environments and the challenges of deploying AI or software in physical manufacturing settings
• Solid knowledge of system integration, data flows, hardware-software interaction, and technical product specification
• Advanced experience with Azure DevOps and managing complex, multi-layered Agile backlogs
• Proficiency in moving between product strategy and detailed documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical constraints into business-ready decisions and progress updates
