Quality Assurance (QA) and Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE)

This role is responsible for leading the Quality Assurance (QA) and Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team in an automotive manufacturing environment. The supervisor ensures suppliers meet quality standards, manages supplier quality issues, conducts audits, oversees PPAP/APQP processes, and works closely with suppliers and internal teams to improve product quality and resolve problems.

Key Requirements

• Automotive industry experience, preferably with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) knowledge.
• Engineering degree or related supplier quality background.
• Experience managing PPAP submissions, supplier audits, and supplier quality performance.
• Strong understanding of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage the SQE team and supplier relationships.
• Spanish or Japanese language skills are a plus.
• Must be willing to travel to Reynosa, Mexico, 2–3 times per week.

A Supplier Quality Manager/Supervisor with automotive manufacturing experience, supplier development expertise, APQP/PPAP knowledge, audit experience, and the ability to lead a team while working closely with suppliers to improve quality and performance.
