The Work

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Who You Are

The qualified candidate will join the Lockheed Martin Palm Beach Florida Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) organization supporting various undersea vehicle programs. Primary responsibilities include reliability and maintainability analysis for various programs. The candidate must also be willing to perform other systems engineering tasking within the subsea vehicle domain that are outside of the primary responsibilities defined above as needs arise.

Desired Skills

Demonstrated experience in reliability engineering, undersea domain, and graduate degree in Engineering discipline (preferred Mechanical, Ocean, Electrical, Aerospace or Systems).

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
