Product Manager

Connected Cars • Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark, Denmark (Hybrid)

Connected Cars is on a mission to transform how automotive manufacturers and distributors interact with their customers by turning vehicle data into loyal, lasting relationships. By 2030, our vision is to turn vehicle data into timely, personal moments that build trust and drive loyalty, while streamlining operations and boosting efficiency across the value chain. We are looking for a commercially savvy and user-focused Product Manager to lead our product offerings towards this vision.

Our team consists of around 70 people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, brought together by a shared belief in team effort, community, and delivering quality products and solutions.

The position

To support our company's growth, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager to work alongside our existing product team. We are currently embarked on a high-impact, strategic project where our connected car solution is being deeply integrated with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ Fleet management product to be rolled out across multiple international markets. Crucially, our product ecosystem bridges both software and physical hardware elements. While your immediate focus will be delivering on this major integration, you will ensure we deliver products and features that makes a difference for our customers while remaining modular, scalable, and fully capable of standing alone as an end-to-end commercial solution.

Reporting to the CPO, you will sit at the intersection of our enterprise customers, commercial and technical teams. In this role, you will unpack complex customer needs, translate them into realistic, workable product solutions, and manage strict stakeholder timelines. Your focus is to give our technical teams total clarity on what needs to be built and why, striking the perfect balance between hitting immediate milestones and protecting the long-term vision of our standalone product.

Key responsibilities:

  • Product Lifecycle Ownership: Take ownership of your own parts of the product, driving development through a deep understanding and strong execution of our development lifecycle, from the initial pain point and ideation to international market release and continuous improvement.
  • Balance Integration vs. Standalone Strategy: Be a driving force on a major cross-company integration project while ensuring the core product retains the capability to be sold and packaged as a comprehensive, standalone solution in the future.
  • Bridge the Gap for Tech: Ensure our engineering teams thoroughly understand both the commercial goals of our partners and our long-term product vision, translating enterprise requirements into clear, executable development cycles.
  • Stakeholder & Timeline Management: Manage high-stakes expectations and strict timelines with large enterprise customers, balancing their immediate roadmap desires with what is technically feasible and commercially viable..
  • Drive the Product Methodology: Navigate and manage our betting tables and development cycles (utilising “Shape Up” principles) to ensure structured, predictable product delivery.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • An Enterprise-Grade PM: A strong stakeholder manager who is commercially savvy and comfortable working alongside large enterprise customers (ideally in the Automotive sector, or possessing a strong desire to master it).
  • Pragmatic go-do mentality: Action-oriented and resourceful, focused on solving problems effectively rather than getting stuck in analysis paralysis. Take ownership of challenges, proactively identifying solutions and driving them through to execution, while balancing technical realities with commercial needs to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Strategic & Future-Focused: Hands-on experience driving complex product development and software integrations, with the foresight to build reusable, core product features rather than just one-off bespoke fixes.
  • Methodology Confident: Familiarity with modern product frameworks, ideally with knowledge of Shape Up (managing cycles and betting tables) or a strong background in Agile environments.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager handling B2B, SaaS, IoT, or complex technical integrations, with a proven track record of shipping products that scale.
  • Language requirements: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, as you will be working with international partners and a highly diverse internal team.
  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience in tech product management).
